Gradi at Crown Melbourne

The restaurant looks beautiful but the menu is overpriced and without proper gluten free options. Even our local pizza place has a GF option. Too expensive to not adapt.

Myself and my parents had the absolute pleasure of dining here tonight, we were served by lovely and charismatic Gennaro! He made our dinning experience especially pleasant and memorable, my mother unfortunately has coeliac disease and he was able to organise and assure she would be able to have a meal at Gradi as she is just simply used to not being able to eat out at restaurants due to this allergy. Gennaro was able to suggest Gradi’s gluten free gnocchi which she said tasted even better than the real thing! Which is very rare for her to say, especially coming from an Italian about Italian food without gluten being in it hahaha. Hopefully when you’re dining here you have the pleasure of meeting Gennaro as he was great company throughout our meal and dining experience! 😁

Good Italian joint in the crown casino. We had a quick bit to eat before heading to the airport. Pasta came out within 15 mins of ordering and were able to cater for gluten intolerance.
