We had a truly delightful meal at Grants of Castlegate last night! We started with a smoked duck dish which had such an interesting and delicious flavor profile. We then had the trio of pork and the bass/ravioli which we thought were delicious as well and well proportioned. My husband finished his meal with the sticky toffee pudding which he made quick work of. I'm fairly certain he would have licked the plate if it were acceptable! I personally have celiac disease. The staff were knowledgeable of my dietary restrictions and accommodated me well. I had no stomach issues afterwards which I was very appreciative of. Thank you Grants of Castlegate for a lovely meal! Should we find ourselves back in Penrith, we'll stop by for another visit!

Wonderful meal this evening. My wife is a coeliac and had a great choice of gluten free. Nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend this local restaurant for people to enjoy
