Wow, Grappa in Park City is hands-down a gem! Tucked right at the top of Main Street, this place feels like a cozy Italian farmhouse with its wooden beams and candlelit vibe. The building’s got history—over 100 years old, used to be a brothel!—and it just adds to the charm. The food? Unreal. I had the grapes and gorgonzola salad, and it’s honestly the best salad I’ve ever eaten, so fresh and zesty. The osso buco was melt-in-your-mouth good, and the servers know their stuff, picking the perfect wine to go with it. Eating on the patio with Main Street buzzing below felt like a dream, especially under the stars. It’s a bit pricey, but worth every penny for a special night out. They even have gluten-free options and a cool 2-for-1 early-bird deal. Service was top-notch, super friendly, and the whole experience was just magical.

Amazing restaurant… however, sadly not celiac-gluten-free safe, which should have been obvious since it’s an Italian restaurant, however, there was GF on the menu and I verified with the server if it was celiac safe for gluten free and he assured me it was. Well, 1 pork chop entree and 2 sides later (which I even modified the sides to be extra safe to avoid cross contamination)…. I was in bad shape and ended up in the ER for 14 hours getting treated. The doctor said my reaction was due to a severe food allergy reaction. The restaurant itself has amazing ambiance and food- however, if you’re celiac, avoid at ALL costs. I also called to see if I’d be allowed to have a drink only since I was celiac, but the Utah law doesn’t allow the ordering of drinks in the absence of ordering food. Gave it a 3 star because I wish our server would have taken my question about gluten more seriously and shared possible cross contamination, but he proceeded to make me feel very inconvenient for asking.
