I've been going here for years and the food is great! However, what happened to the Mac n Cheese and what do the letters mean next to each item? I think the Mac n Cheese turned into some non dairy, gluten free concoction. Can't find a key to the lettering on the website or a contact email, for that matter...
Love the vibe at this place. Great live music this past Friday night. I especially appreciate the gluten free menu and tasty food. Good and friendly service too. Overall highly recommend.
Delicious meal and gluten free/celiac safe! The sushi was excellent, everything was so fresh, with lots of great flavors. The tempura is gluten free and no cross contamination in the fryers
This was our 2nd visit to BAAN Thai. It is the best in PC. I have Celiac and have eaten here twice and loved it. So many GF options.
We love the Pad Thai and Pad See WA. The Spring Rolls are not gf BC of the house sauce. Our first time here we asked and they served it without the house sauce. Always ask they seem very helpful.
Second Visit: Still excellent food…but extraordinarily poor service. After getting seated, the waiter spilled one of the waters all over the table and onto my son. They brought the wrong fries with our order and then said they would bring out the right kind only to not get them until I was more than half way through my entree.
Our water and soft drinks were never refilled. They frankly forgot about us once the food was out. Once we were finished and had waited 10-15 minutes with no sign of our server, we had to walk to the bar to ask for our server. Someone else came to the table a few minutes later and said they didn’t know where our server went (like she disappeared after bringing us our food and never came back.).
So he ended up bringing out our check. The proper thing to do would have been to offer up one of the entrees as free, or the drink, or offer a free dessert, but nothing. Just a check and an expectation for a tip.
So disappointing for a place that really does have good food which the PC scene still desperately needs more of.

Sammy’s is a great diner. What should you get v stay away from?
Recommendations to get:
- Chivito Sandwich (best thing we ate)
- Salmon Salad on quinoa
- Nachos (weren’t much to look at but were surprisingly good)
- Sweet Potato Fries and Fry Sauce
- Fountain Drink (they nail there syrup mixture for Coke Zero)
- Gluten Free options (so happy with the GF selections)
Avoid:
- Bacon Cheeseburger (we were excited to try this…But really meh)
Regular Fries
Carrot Cake
Really stellar service too! Fast and attentive.
My husband and I are both gluten free, and we were vacationing in Park Cities, looking for some local and delicious gluten free food. This place was a wonderful treat, so many gf options! He ordered the gf Belgian waffle with cherries on top, it was so good!!! Reminded me of cherry cobbler. I had a gf biscuit with a poached egg, bacon, avocado and tomato, also very delicious!! My husband also enjoyed an order of deviled eggs. The restaurant was cozy inside with a fireplace, they left the door open on to the charming patio. We ended up staying and chatting with the chef and the owner and enjoyed getting to know them. They invited us to dine at their sister location, 501, the next day. And that did not disappoint either! Great lunch and continued our conversation with the owner, who is a delight! Thank y’all, we hope to be back!
I am celiac, and this is one of my new favorite places. Very cozy/home feeling atmosphere, and the staff is incredible kind and attentive. When I asked to make sure there wouldn’t be any cross contamination, they confirmed for me and were some of the most kind and responsive people to me being nervous about fried things being contaminated. I’ve gotten the marinated chicken bowl and the falafel bowl so far, and have a hard time getting something else now that I know how yummy they are.
Just so yummy. We ordered quite a few things from the menu and it was all good. Many gluten free options and the dippers were such a pleasant delight. The salad was fresh and had many different textures. Will definitely be going back.
Food was decent, but service was slow and lunch wasn't that busy. Waited over 25 minutes to order. We were about to walk out when a server finally took our order.
Gluten free penne, pizza, salads, and buffalo wings. Ordered gluten free pizza, was informed after I took a bite that the pizza was not gluten free. I suffer from anaphylaxis due to a wheat allergy, Luckily the server noticed, or that could have been bad. Turned out she marked the wrong option in her app. This is a big deal to me. I hate it when I can't breathe because I ate the wrong thing.
Manager owned up to it and it was on the house. Threw in a gift card. So, at least there was that. Earned a star back for that.
The pizza itself was decent, with good quality ingredients. It tasted right, despite being gluten free crust the second time. The rice flour crust is crispy and New York style (which I prefer anyway).
Atmosphere was average, not great or bad, meeting but not exceeding expectations.
In billing, we had to send the bill back, since it didn't reflect anything "on the house".
Probably not going back, gift card or not. If you're hungry, might be better to go elsewhere. The gluten free options are sufficient, but there appears to be (at the time of writing) a training issue.
A spectacular spot on main! The interior design is very unique in the best way possible. I’ve never seen a restaurant like it with its gorgeous wood accents, 1/2 booths that are perfect for date night, iron water goblets, and even the yellow tiled bathroom!
Food: The tortilla soup, tacos and sirloin were are AMAZING! They had some great wine selections too.
The food is delicious, definitely on the more pricey side, but perfect for a special night out :)
They have a few nice gluten free options too (see the pictures).
Unassuming cafe with premade salads and sandwiches and sit down service. To be honest it doesn’t look like much but the food was incredible. As someone with celiac I am always hesitant trying new places when traveling. My husband and I had the beet salad & curry bowl. It was so good I will be trying to recreate the dishes at home. Great spot for a late lunch after a long travel day and they also have a liquor license! You can find wine & goodies also on the menu. Highly recommend.
Allergy Friendly for this gluten, soy, and dairy allergy!!!
They do not have an allergen menu, as their menu changes often with the special of the day, but our waiter knew details about every piece on their menu. He walked me by each of the 3 stations and explained where the hidden gluten or dairy is, and it wasn't in much - mostly the obvious things like breads or cream chowder. And as for soy, he said it's not on their menu at all - no soy in the whole restaurant!! When I said I was also concerned with the dessert table having the fruit (which I can eat) next to the cookies and breads (and me being Celiac, cannot have a crumb of cross-contamination), the waiter went in the back and made up a plate of fruit for me. I ate a ton and it was delicious!!!
We had a great meal here on Christmas Day. The server and chef easily accommodated our gluten allergy. Despite being busy, they were attentive and welcoming. We would come here even if it wasn't nearly the only restaurant open.
The staff is great. The food is really good, not next level, but really good. I’m gluten free and I would love to have the beer but I can’t. However, they typically have a really good rotational seltzer. Please don’t ever take the ginger berry seltzer off the menu!
As to be expected, they have Park City prices but the premium is reasonable.
My O - V - E - R - P - R - I - C - E - D dinner! ! ! We wanted entree salads for our dinner. Our waitress suggested we order the fall salad and suggested the trout to be added as a protein. We got dinner in a small 8 inch salad bowl. Yes the quality was there but I left hungry. Forty two dollars for each dinner in a small salad bowl! I could have ordered the regular trout entree with more food and served on a large plate for the same price! Since we were charged the entree price I would have liked entree sized plates.
I would like to also mention that the menu is very trendy which can be enjoyed by some but to a person who has to dine gluten free I was disappointed that there were so many holes in the menu selection.
Since we left hungry we had wonderful gluten free Norwegian Chowder bowls of soup and a dessert at a restaurant in downtown Park City within the hour.
Nothing short of excellent! Only two things I didn’t love, the deviled eggs (just different , not bad) and one of the gluten free cakes (kind of expected right?) Had thanksgiving buffet dinner. It was outstanding. Great variety and well done. I could have stuck with just the caesar salad alone. You have to appreciate the legit caesar salad with the anchovies on the side for weirdos like me that want them. Charcuterie galore, excellent smoked salmon, and fantastic turkey and prime rib. Live music for the atmosphere while lightly snowing outside and never ending chocolaty goodness deserts. Just perfect.
We went very early so we were some of the only people in there and they tried to sit us as an unfavorable table, even though we had a reservation and the place was empty. They did quickly remedy that for us but I would be specific when you make your reservation.
The food, service, and ambiance made up for it. They made me a wonderful gluten free scallop dish by replacing the tart with mashed potatoes and everyone at my table was jealous.
We had an awesome breakfast. Service was quick! Good gluten free options. The GF toast was actually pretty good! The chicken sausage was very tasty. I really enjoyed the chia pudding! We will be back tomorrow to order the same things!
Last night, we tried out this place, and it was pretty awesome. We started with the nachos, loaded with cheese, jalapeños, and beans—definitely hit the spot. The spinach and artichoke dip was also good. For entree, I went for the American Bison Sandwich The buffalo meat was tender and flavorful though I couldn’t spot a difference between that and regular beef. The ABCLT sandwich and the turkey/avocado sandwich with gluten free buns were fine but not that great. The stars of the show however were the tater tots and fries - though not sure if they were gluten free as the fries definitely had batter on top of it. Service was friendly and on point, making it a solid choice for a nice meal out. Definitely recommend checking it out.
Placed an order to go. I’m gluten free so asked for the GF bun on the basic burger. They asked if I wanted the fries, I asked if they were GF she said no. I said, okay well I’m GF so I can’t have gluten. She said I could have the Caesar salad. Great 👍 she said it would be 15 minutes. I showed up 15 minutes later and the hostess was taking individual to go orders for a large group who was undecided. The family in front of me was going to lose their minds because they just wanted to be seated and had been waiting for some time. Another 15 minutes went by and a lady brought a to-go order out. I asked if it was mine and she looked at the receipt in the bag and said no. The family in front of me asked a passing waitress if she could seat them and she said it’s too late, they close at 8. They had a hungry mom and kids and they were understandably upset. Especially because the sign on the door clearly stated they close at 9pm on Sunday. So they left. Finally the group was done ordering with the waitress and then she grabbed the order that the other lady said was not mine. It was mine. I could have easily paid at the bar for it and been in my way 15 minutes earlier. Got back to our hotel and the Caesar salad was covered in croutons. Why on earth would I pay extra for a GF bun and then want croutons in my salad? I was planning to share this with my son. By the time we got to eat and discover that we couldn’t eat half the meal it was infuriating. The hamburger itself was so tiny. I would have expected at least some sauce or ketchup or something on it. My son has had bigger kids meals. Way overpriced. Still hungry. Probably wouldn’t have been so upset about it if we had gotten it on time. By the time we got to start eating we were then starving. What a waste of money and time.
I took my daughter in for dinner after a long day on the mountain skiing this past winter. The food was excellent, but what made the dining experience most memorable was Chef Georgios. He stopped by our table and chatted with my daughter for over 10 minutes after he heard that she wanted to “be a chef when she grows up”, as she would like to help others who have gluten allergies have better options when dining out. Not only did he take time to tell my daughter his story, but also made sure to ask her questions about cooking and her life. He knew how to make her feel special! Only after he left the table did I learn that it was actually his day off, and he had just popped in for a minute to do something in the back area. What a special place!
