This morning we walked to Gravel & Grind from our AirBNB. It was the GF waffles that led us there; my spouse hadn't had one in decades and we were hopeful based on other's reviews. We got there to find a line out the door (always a good sign) that moved pretty fast. We ordered a GF waffle with everything (fruit compote, butter, syrup) and a fully gluten waffle of the same. For drinks we got a Peruvian pour-over and a Chai Latte with almond milk. We agreed both of our waffles were EXCELLENT: crispy on the outside, fluffy and delicious on the inside. I don't know how they get the syrup on these without them turning to mush, but they did it! This was the best waffle I've ever had. It was, dare I say it, PERFECT. In fact, I at almost every bite before I knew it (very unusual for The Queen of "May I Have a Box!" My spouse said the pour-over was VERY good - this is high praise from my self-proclaimed Coffee Snob. I liked how the Chai Latte had a bit of a bite to it, likely from the clove infused in it. We sat on the back patio at one of the many umbrella-ed, four-seater tables under a canopy. We were the only ones there. By the time we left, it was almost full of visitors. I got to play with a 10-month-old at the next table (delightful) and to pet an adorable Tibetan Terrier dog on my way out. Yes, I recommend this place. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly and quick. I wouldn't be surprised if we end up back there again!

Excellent food and service. I had soup of the day (Smokey potato broccoli) with gluten free toast and it was delicious. I also tried their Brussels sprouts, pine nuts, hummus and sun dried tomato on gluten free toast and just wow! Soooo goooodddd. It’s a bit pricey for just one slice of toast but again, really delicious. Their gluten free bread is AMAZING! First GF bread that actually taste like bread and doesn’t disintegrate as soon as it touches your mouth. Their chai tea with almond milk is nice and light and so good in the morning.
