Best gluten free pizza I’ve had since going gluten free. Wish it was a little more affordable, but understand the cost due to the high quality of the imported flour. Definitely recommend!
My partner and I had dinner here tonight. He got a burger which he said was very good. We shared a crab dip which was delicious. I am gluten free (allergy) so I was thrilled to see so many options. Unfortunately, I did indeed have a reaction to the gluten free pizza. My partner had tried their pizza here before at an earlier date and he did mention he enjoyed the piece of my gluten free crust very much, in his opinion he liked it better than the normal crust. I’m not sure if somewhere along the way my food somehow encountered gluten contamination. It’s understandable but disappointing. Thankfully I take enzymes for when I eat out which do reduce any reaction I may have if exposed. But aside from that the bacon fig pizza was very tasty. The atmosphere was great. And our server Keller, was friendly, and attentive. Another worker did say bye to us on our way out, which we appreciated. Great place, my advice is to people with celiac to just be careful and bring your antispasmodics/enzymes, just in case.
In the theater district of Frederick. Good food, service, cozy atmosphere. Good place for those with gluten free or vegan diets but also good for those without dietary restrictions. Yum!
We love Lazy Fish!! Their food is so delicious and fresh!! The remodel looks awesome!!! And we just love the staff!!! Cheyanne and Prym always remembers us and they take amazing care of us!! I have a gluten allergy and I’ve never gotten sick!! Thank you for all your care!! We’ll be back soon!! 🩷🩷
Amazing vegan find in Frederick! My family got the taco salad, kale caesar, açai bowl and cauliflower bites and everything was so fresh and came in big portions. They had a lot of gluten free deserts and options. The place was also very cute with lots of local art!
Excellent food and service.
I had soup of the day (Smokey potato broccoli) with gluten free toast and it was delicious.
I also tried their Brussels sprouts, pine nuts, hummus and sun dried tomato on gluten free toast and just wow! Soooo goooodddd. It’s a bit pricey for just one slice of toast but again, really delicious.
Their gluten free bread is AMAZING! First GF bread that actually taste like bread and doesn’t disintegrate as soon as it touches your mouth.
Their chai tea with almond milk is nice and light and so good in the morning.
This is not a great place for people with food allergies. I’ve had several issues in this regard.
My wife has a tree nut allergy. She had an almost immediate allergic reaction after eating…tater tots. At first we were very confused, but after checking the menu closely, we saw that a different dish contained fried nuts. Apparently they have one shared fryer that they use for anything for fried. My wife was sick the rest of the night.
I on the other hand have a gluten intolerance. They mark items on the menu that are gluten free…but 90% of those items are also fried in the shared fryer. So, they’re not actually gluten free.
The wait staff has always been great the few times I’ve been here, but they really need to address how they handle dietary restrictions better.
Service was friendly and fast, my food was delicious, and everyone enjoyed their lattes. My vegan and gluten-free friends had good options. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting Frederick!
We were greeted by 2 very friendly young ladies. They were very personable and went out of their way to verify ingredients for someone who has celiac disease! My avocado toast was delicious! In addition , my sister who is gluten free said her egg sandwich was amazing!
Stop by and grab a pop. Sit down for a great hotdog and enjoy a friendly atmosphere. Great selection of hard to find candy and some surprising new candies. They also have plant based, gluten-free candy and chocolate. Might be something for everyone.
We have gone here twice now and it has been consistently great. Everything comes out fresh and quite quickly. The service has been incredible, always very polite and expedient. Most pasta they have a gluten free option for that tastes great. I am partial to the seafood platter in red sauce, as the seafood is all cooked perfectly, not overdone. The fried calamari appetizer is not overly breaded or fried too long. Waiters are attentive and our water was constantly replenished. Definitely our go-to Italian place.
An excellent and unique Italian cafe right in the heart of downtown Frederick.
Delizia offers a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere at all times throughout the day. In the morning, Delizia offers a full service coffee bar and possibly the best croissants in Frederick. They also offer a hot breakfast menu serving American style breakfasts with unique Italian flare.
In the afternoon and evening, Delizia offers happy hour cocktails, a good selection of Italian wine and beers. I recommend the Venetian Spritz. The dinner menu features homemade lasagna, pasta, and gluten free snack sized pizzas.
There are several event evenings, including an open mic / comedy night and a Salsa dance night.
I highly recommend Delizia to everyone exploring downtown Frederick. I expect to become a regular customer!
Adorable cafe in downtown Frederick that made you feel like you were in a French cafe. The strawberry pistachio latte was delicious and just enough sweetness. I was so pleased to find yummy gluten free waffles on the menu. Thanks for the great treat!
Good pizza. Very accommodating to a special order of fries with custom toppings for gluten free member of our group! Gave our group an extra pizza for free, too!
It was our first time here and had a delicious dinner. Forgot to take pictures but had the shishito peppers, street corn and tacos and amazing margaritas. Thank you India for your great service and making sure my tacos were gluten free!
Not the healthiest food but it is delicious. White pizza with a cheesy meatball on top is really good. Everything is authentic, the marinara and tomato dishes are delicious. Love the sausage and peppers on giant garlic toast. Great pasta dishes. Everything is good. Also just found out they have a gluten free menu.
We got the Cobb Salad and Killer Fries. The salad was excellent! All the ingredients were so fresh, and the herbed vinaigrette was light and flavorful. My daughter is not always a big fan of salads but she devoured a good bunch of it. Killer fries live up to the name... covered in cheese and bacon with ranch on the side. All with friendly curbside pickup for keeping social distance. :-) Next time we may try the gluten-free pizza, and I definitely need to try the shepherd's pie with Guinness.
Very accomodating for gluten free me. The manager took the recipe book right out of the kitchen to even confirm sauces and rubs were safe for me. Felt like a local hole in the wall place with delish sauces. The mustard and sweet sauces were my favorite. Get a meal, you can load up on different types of meat on one big platter
Best corned beef in town. Also excellent burgers and wings. I can't eat gluten but everybody, for years, has raved about the fish and chips and it looks awesome.
Been coming here for almost 3 decades. The staff has always been great, with literally one or maybe two unpleasant ones along the way but they don't last long. Turnover here is low.
Frank and Amber make great martinis, and they, along with (almost) all the other current staff, make people feel welcomed and at home. And they handle the occasional rude / righteously indignant customer gracefully.
I love this place, the food, and the dedication to and support of our town.
Worth repeating: best corned beef in town.
Went here for our anniversary and everything was wonderful. There were plenty of gluten free options for my wife and our waitress Morgan was great. Highly recommend the crispy artichokes and the crème brûlée.
