We happened upon it by chance last summer and we returned today with great pleasure, excellent food, friendly staff attentive to customer needs, I also recommend it to those who have celiac disease problems. We will be back.

Excellent set menu!! I have celiac disease and have had no contamination problems.. A waiter followed our table I don't know his name but he has glasses Very kind!! He always asked how everything was going and I really appreciated the gesture All smiling staff and quality food.. Unfortunately I have to write a terrible review for the Al Grecale restaurant in Sferracavallo. They made the biggest mistake: they gave my 10-year-old daughter mussel soup with gluten-free croutons! Obviously we had explicitly said that the child is celiac; when they brought the dish out of excessive scrupulousness we asked and, I think the owner, said that she could eat without worries. After a couple of minutes he came back saying that they had put the gluten-free croutons on the wrong thing! My daughter was scared and cried. They apologized for the oversight, they remade her dish, which was the least they could do, but in my opinion they should have at least taken it off the bill. But in any case the real problem is that certain mistakes are not plausible or justified. If there are too many people I prefer to be told that they cannot guarantee gluten-free rather than play with the health of the customers. It's the first time this has happened to her in these two years, I can only hope that nothing happens to her.
