Green Ridge Farm Market & Cafe

My husband and I are thrilled that the market moved to Trindle Road; in Healthy Grocer's former space. Ruthie and her family have done such a great job with their new endeavor. We use to travel to Lititz, York and Biglerville to shop for organic, free range and grass fed items. Shopping at Green Ridge is an experience because everyone is so friendly. They make grocery shopping fun. LOL I would much rather support small businesses than the large stores any day. Here are a few of our favorites: Homemade Butter Pecan ice cream, Gluten Free Cinnamon Donut Holes, Organic Dried Apple Slices, Apple Cinnamon Sausage, Bratwurst, Arrowhead Mills Organic Gluten free flour, Raw Milk, Corn + Soy Free eggs. We enjoyed breakfast this morning at the cafe. Susanna prepared the Very Berry Acai Bowl (best ever) for Dave and I had the Farmer's Breakfast Bowl. Both were delicious and beautifully presented. Bright, clean, well organized shop. Friendly and helpful employees. Lots of great organic and local products. Excellent produce section with a great variety of organic fruits and vegetables. They have gluten free items and a nice selection of fall gourds, pumpkins, dried corn, and mums. Will definitely be returning and look forward to trying their cafe and homemade ice cream!
