Dinner for the family on New Year's Day.
It was one of the few places open in the Kelowna and Vernon. So, my wife, 2 kids and I stopped there on our way home from a movie.
I think it was more crowded than usual, but the food still came out timely and was prepared well.
I had a blue cheese burger on gluten-free bun with home made sweet potato fries and drank a craft IPA. Not too run-of-the-mill for a hotel restaurant.
The service was good. I was impressed right at the start. The manager walked by and noticed that we didn't have drinks. She asked if our drink order had been taken. When we said no, she took the order herself. That simple action made me think that the restaurant will be well run.
The only reason I give this 4 stars is because personally I don't like the atmosphere of a hotel. I'd like to give it 4.5...
