The waitress and service were great! The fact they serve a more than average amount of gluten free menu items is a bonus. Some issues that I do have are relevant tho. The salad was only "ok". I could have used having a much smaller dinner with a GOOD dressing. The blue cheese that I had was very watery and almost inedible. Offer free dressings and MAKE THE IN HOUSE DAILY. You'll save money vs premixed yuck. AND it will taste good, making your customers happy. The hamburger "steak" that I had was cooked at the correct temp but a few minor spices would have helped like using some garlic or onion powder with a small amount of salt even would have helped.
The veges offered were unevenly cooked and were supposed to be steamed but if you steam veges, you need to toss them in at different times when you mix thing like cauliflower, broccoli and baby carrots. The carrots were undercooked and the broccoli and cauliflower were over cooked. So, add the carrots FIRST and add the other 2 veges about 8 mins later. Then they will ALL be cooked and flavorful. It also wouldn't hut to add a bit of garlic to the steaming water will incorporate more flavor. Or undercooked all of it slightly and lightly saute it at service time with Virginia olive oil and fresh garlic clives. Yummy AND healthy!
The mashed potatoes were ok but a little gummy. Less whioe milk and lighter butter without having them sit too long or being over mixed would be good too.
The final."complaint that I have is the overly loud disco music. Because you can't talk over it and it's so 1970s/very early 80s (And I say this as a 59yo woman who was a teen when this was the fashion. Buthe coffee post dinner cocktail coffee was not bad.
