Hancock

Finally tried this place, based on some previous reviews about a gluten-free option for their chicken and because the person I was having lunch with had been wanting to try Hancock. Some positives: - Plenty of seating inside / out for lunch - Shaved Brussels salad is a knockout! I ordered it without the Parmesan and they were able to add a smash patty ($5 add) to make it a delish and filling salad for me - Fun slushie options! We went NA* Hesitations for me to make a return visit: - They looked at me like I was delusional when I inquired about the GF options I’d seen on Google Reviews - They cannot accommodate anything gluten-free with their chicken or fish. Full stop. - If you want fried food and have zero dietary restrictions, this place potentially works great for you! Just a bummer if you can’t have gluten, or have any dairy sensitivities. Outlook for me to return = not likely (unless I’m coming in for specifically that salad as takeout or maybe just a cocktail…?)

Incredible vibes and average food that is a little bit higher in price than it is worth in my opinion. Crazy to see they have increased their prices by over 50% in some case in the past two years. The chicken doesn’t have a whole lot of flavor outside of the spice and the vegan chikn is basically just a slab of fried gluten. Great apps and salads though! Love going here when the weather is nice to hang outside!
