Awesome place! We visited during our trip to Albany. The food was absolutely delicious and there were so many gluten free options that were coeliac friendly (including their gluten free waffles and drinks which were all just sooooo good!) Do yourself a favour and make sure you visit if you are in the area. There’s a play area for the kids. In addition, if you want to ensure you definitely get a table, make a booking as it’s busy (and for obvious reasons as their food is soooo good). Highly recommended!

This place has the most spectacular food and drink options. The service was fantastic and the people were very friendly and outgoing. There is something for everybody including a little bit of wildlife out the front and a playground for the children. I strongly recommend the passionfruit thickshake and the bacon and egg bagel, which was easily accessible for me as it had a gluten free option. I can’t wait to come again.

You can tell that this is more than a cafe when you visit. It’s a passion, it’s a lifestyle and it’s a family. The team work well and harmoniously and this has so many benefits for the customer. You can tell this is a well-oiled machine environment as it feels peaceful and safe, even when it is busy. My children enjoyed the food and the playground, as well as meeting Boris. The food was exceptional, and priced really well. Do yourself a favour, go there, order a farmer’s high tea and a coffee just the way you like it, then relax and enjoy the atmosphere and as you leave, purchase the chilli strawberry jam, a punnet of strawberries and do not leave without a bag of freeze dried strawberries soaked in chocolate. +extra points for the gluten free sourdough which was home made and probably better than any bread I have ever tasted. I don’t like being gluten free, but it’s places like Handasyde’s that makes it bearable and even, dare I say, enjoyable. We really enjoy it here.
