So the basics first if you want a quick burger and chips this isn’t the place for you. The food is freshly prepared and no rush is placed on you so you will be there for an hour at least. We were served by Honor today and she was lovely efficient and friendly.
The menu is extensive and the food was flavoursome. The venue is great for kids as it has some boots with TV screens on and there is lots to look at around the restaurant.
On arrival today who was immediately asked to complete a track and trace form which was good. whilst we were waiting for our food I could see a colleague of Honor’s wiping down menus with antiseptic spray which demonstrates they take the coded 19 situation very very seriously.
They are also taking part in the government initiative some money till Wednesday or food and soft drinks are reduced.
We had to soft drinks to mains and a side dish or £13 which is absolutely fantastic.
The portions are massive so you will not leave hungry but you do need to be patient as The orders are cooked in order being taken.
They also do gluten-free burger bands on request.
Even without the government initiative the food represents great value for money and it’s definitely worth a visit when you go to Eastbourne. It’s currently situated behind some building scaffolding but there are lots of restaurants and terminal road so have a good look and you will find it.
