We had never been here before, but wanted to celebrate a birthday so this ended up being our final choice. I have Celiac, and one reason this was the choice was because the menu was clearly marked with GF items. With that said, I am still often nervous about trying an untested place.
Our server, Amber, immediate set my mind at ease by how knowledgeable she was, and she also immediately went back and informed the kitchen. Based on her recommendation, I ended up going with the salmon. Not only was the salmon cooked to perfection, but the kale (kale!) was incredible. It was so good, I want the recipe. Best kale I have ever had.
For those of us who didn't need to be so careful, the food was also labeled "incredible," "mmmmmm," and "so good."
Amber made the experience warm, delightful, and safe (which is important for someone with Celiac), but it also informs the level of care and craft in the whole place. We all left impressed and delighted.
If I could give 20/10 I would. I will be back again, birthday or not, and I'm already looking forward to seeing what their spring/summer menu will entail.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I cannot reiterate enough how grateful I am for the attention and care Amber gave to my dietary needs.
