Heritage Grand Restaurant and Pizza Bar

Totally forgot to review this awesome restaurant while I was in New York last month. We were looking for a place that could take a party of 7 at the last minute and they were so kind and accommodating. The food was excellent, especially the burrata. They even had an excellent gluten free pizza which my mother in law was overjoyed with. Great place will definitely go back when we're in town again.

If you are gluten free (or are otherwise looking for nice, accommodating places to eat), DO NOT COME HERE. Our pizza doughy was so undercooked, and so sticky from being undercooked, that we literally could not get it off the metal pizza tray it is served on. Now i’m not the type of person to write a review for a *mistake* that the restaurant was not aware of, second chances and what not. So, i brought the pizza to the attention of our waitress, who rudely told me “that’s just how gluten free pizzas are, i don’t know what you expected.” Clearly, the situation was not going to be rectified, so i ate my cheese and basic and left. Where did I go? To a random Irish Pub that in no way specializes in Pizza. Do you know what I got there? A FANTASTIC gluten free pizza. So good, in fact, that I had to ask to make sure it was gluten free. Moral of the story / TL;DR: Pizza place fails to make edible pizza, then fails to make it right.
