My experience was great especially as someone that has celiacs and gets sick easily with cross contamination. They have a designated gluten free menu with so many options which I feel like is so hard to come by. Their staff was also on top of it. They make sure that they mark it as an allergy when putting through the order and then shortly after I ordered a manager came to our table to make sure that she had correct everything that I specifically ordered to ensure that they were extra careful handling my food. And while I never expect restaurants to be able to really accommodate me because it is difficult when they handle so many different gluten products It felt so nice to feel “normal” getting to eat out and feeling safe doing so. I truly can not say enough good things about my experience and the staff and give a huge kudos as I know they are like this with others who may have other sensitivities or allergies. Absolutely will make the two hour drive back to eat here again.

Ok but definitely not as good as other BBQ places we’ve been to. Ordered sandwiches that were BBQ shredded chicken, pork & beef together. Food came out almost instantly but the meat on the sandwiches was barely warm and it was very dry and definitely had been cooked for quite some time or hadn’t been kept moist. My gluten-free bun was super dry. I had to drench the sandwich in BBQ sauce and drink a lot of water to get it down. My fries were also barely warm. My husband had the regular bun, it was ok. His mashed potatoes and gravy were pretty good . The atmosphere & decor was great. The food was not the quality that we are used to at other barbecue places or didn’t match how neat the place was. It was about 5PM on a Tuesday night. If I had to guess I would say everything is already pre-cooked like a cafeteria style at least on the items that we had. I’m glad we weren’t super hungry & only ordered lower-priced meals. Would not go again.

I was here on Thursday August 8th and I just wanted to majorly shout out who I believe was the manager while I was there during lunch I didn’t catch her name and I wish I would have now. But I have celiac disease and my experience with the whole staff was great, but this manager personally came to the table to explain how the gluten free buns work as well as ask if she could replace the ketchup at the table to ensure I had 0 chance of cross contamination then double checked if gluten was the only allergen at the table. I’m newly diagnosed celiac and have been nervous to go to restaurants and I was really blown away with that attention to detail and care from the staff.
