As a Gluten free person not due to celiac, I am SO GRATEFUL for their options!!! I’m a sucker for the carrot cake cupcake 😋 Service could be friendlier and faster. I’ve had to ask questions about menu items or been given the wrong item, or…when I ordered a custom cake and got the wrong cake they responded with options rather than empathy. But oh well, maybe we pay more for the item than the service at hideaway. Either way, I think it’s the best best bakery in town and I love it!

This place is so SO good! They have a huge wood-fired oven, so the place always smells faintly of wood smoke in addition to the incredible smells of the fresh baked treats. There is a full menu of delicious breakfast and lunch options. They have lots of gluten free goodies, including several varieties of artisan bread and a dedicated GF pastry case every day. They have indoor seating, but the patio outside is definitely the best place to sit (bring your well behaved dog!). The line can move slowly during the peak morning rush, so allow yourself a good 20-30 minutes.

best lil big secret in eugene. also the best bacon u'v ever tasted (they smoke it here). sometimes ppl park stupid they should really put some arrows on the south IN driveway & maybe some lines to mark spaces it wouldn't cost much and it would really help people and probably save somebody's life, I've seen cars drive way too close to children running around and dogs running around because people parked stupidly when it was busy ps: a local who gets their gluten-free rye/pumpernickel bread told me about it, that he gets it even though he's not gluten-free because it's so delicious And he was right pps: the hours are confusing, on the website it says they serve till 2:00pm, but here and else are on the website it says they're open till five They should really clarify that.
