Consistently, reliably mids. I have never once had something "delicious" here, but it's never been outright inedible either. It's just consistently meh. If i had another GF option nearby, I'd go there. The dough is often either overly dry (as gluten free tends to be) or overly chewy... definitely needs improvement, especially considering the prices.
best lil big secret in eugene. also the best bacon u'v ever tasted (they smoke it here).
sometimes ppl park stupid
they should really put some arrows on the south IN driveway & maybe some lines to mark spaces
it wouldn't cost much and it would really help people and probably save somebody's life, I've seen cars drive way too close to children running around and dogs running around because people parked stupidly when it was busy
ps: a local who gets their gluten-free rye/pumpernickel bread told me about it, that he gets it even though he's not gluten-free because it's so delicious
And he was right
pps: the hours are confusing, on the website it says they serve till 2:00pm, but here and else are on the website it says they're open till five
They should really clarify that.
Hands down the BEST gluten-free bread I've ever had! Finn has dialed in the flavor, crumb, and chew. My faves so far are the olive and rosemary loaf and ciabatta buns.
Service was 10/10 for a walk-in of 7 on a Sunday night and one had celiac disease. Meatballs were out of this world. The hazelnut semifreddo needs to become a permanent menu item. It is gluten free and absolutely phenomenal. We had issues with our pasta being served lukewarm, but the dinner was delicious regardless. Would highly recommend.
Just to share all the things they offer here. 100% gluten free, 100% organic, 100% vegan, 100% soy-free, 100% salt free, 100% peanut free, 100% oil free, and 100% Raw.
I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a whole plant-based raw vegan restaurant. The owners who do all the food prep and service in the restaurant truly care. It shows in the way they treat people when they walk in and in the small details like their 100% recyclable straws to the filtered water that they serve customers.
If you are unfamiliar with eating like this, it might take a little bit to get used to and to change your taste buds to like it. However, some of their food is so good I believe regular eating people would find it equal in taste to the real thing. For example, their soft serve ice cream that is 100% dairy-free and naturally sweetened by fruit or dates also their smoothies!
I was treated very rudely when I mentioned I had celiac disease. She left me to Google some things and walked away annoyed instead of being helpful. The entire place was so smoky from cooking that my hair and clothes smelled the rest of the day. The cocktails were well done although weak for the price. I will not return
