We've been here quite a few times and we're bringing the whole family for this trip. There was concern about gluten as another person posted that they changed their menu. I called and talked to the restaurant, and they stated they have 4 new sandwiches on the menu that contain gluten, but they are prepared away from the other items in their kitchen, and they are very diligent about cross contamination. This is important as we have celiac folks in our party. Everyone loved it, everyone ate every bit of it, and everyone is happy. And the horchatta rice crispy bar is insane.

This was my go to place. Unfortunately they changed from being gluten free to using gluten bread. This is what made them unique and definitely why such a large community of people came to this restaurant. It's been my favorite place now for a few years. Unless they make the change back, we won't be able to dine here anymore. Bummer.

NOT GLUTEN FREE ANYMORE! Would've been nice to know that but we were never even given menus. We are regulars so I ordered and learned the hard way. It'd too bad because there are 1000s of restaurants to get a sandwich. Being gluten free and celiac safe is what made Hola Arepa different.
