Hooded Merganser Restaurant

Very nice restaurant on the water. Staff are very attentive,reservations are recommended. Most items are or can be made Gluten free. I had the tenderloin they subbed the demi glaze for a red wine sauce which was very good. Teens enjoyed both their seafood dishes & tiramisu. Stunning views, always a must when we are in town.

As someone who has to eat gluten free I was extremely disappointed in the menu options. My only options were a power bowl or fish. The ambience in he restaurant is wonderful and we used to always go there for a nice higher end dinner. A couple of years ago they had an amazing menu with lots of good gluten free options. Now they don’t list any gluten free options and as mentioned there were only three things I was advised I could have. We won’t be going back and we won’t be recommending the restaurant to others.
