Hosteria Mattta La Piccola

I've been twice this week in this fantastic restaurant with my family. There is a wide choice in the menu, it's hard to choose as every time we ordered something it was super tasty. They have gluten free and vegetarian options. Our highlights were the marshmallows with pecorino, honey and spicy sauce, the tagliata (the meat was like butter), although risotto and umbricelli (pasta) also deserve a try. The service was extremely friendly and kind, also with kids, and very customer focused. The local is simple but feels like home. If you happen to be around Marsciano, Todi or Deruta and you don't stop by, you are going to miss an outstanding gastronomic experience...

This was my favorite restaurant in all of Italy. The staff and chef are the sweetest people ever. They gave us excellent recommendations and made us feel like we ate in their home. As someone with celiac disease who needs to eat gluten-free, I felt so safe. The chef’s daughter has celiac disease, and she was able to safely make everything on the menu gluten-free. We considered changing our trip itinerary so that we could eat here again.

There is nothing else to add other than 5* for everything! Great attention to gluten-free! We will absolutely be back!
