Just got back from a delicious breakfast at this hip place! I have been hearing about this place and was excited to get there today! As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a smile. There was a short wait, which I take as a good omen! Here are a few of my observations: 1. The menu has some delicious options and is dietary-needs aware. There are options for vegans, vegetarians, those with gluten free needs, and carnivores! 2. They are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner- so you could really go anytime. It is sort of a fancy, hip diner. 2. I ordered “The Benedict”, which was delicious. (I opted for no ham- so cannot review that!) the poached eggs rested atop a layer of spinach and a light and airy biscuit. The biscuit was so huge I could t eat all of it. At $13, I felt it was fairly priced. My son had the breakfast tacos which he loved. He traded out the chorizo for chicken and raved about the mix of the hominy, onions, fresh avocado, and verde salsa! His meal would have been $11, but the chicken added a whopping $4 upcharge- making this a bit pricey. (This 17 year old has a penchant for Posh eateries). We also shared an order of fried green tomatoes- ringing in at $8- which were a definite palate pleaser! It came with four sizable ‘maters topped with a really delicious ranch sauce. I could have eaten this as my meal- and may do that on my next visit! 3. Our server was friendly and got us everything we needed. Refills happened before we had to ask, which is something I appreciate in a restaurant. 4. A DJ set up when we were nearly finished, so we didn’t get to hear much, but the tunes he was spinning were really a fantastic addition to the vibe. 5. My only complaint is that it was a bit warm in there. However, my son told me that it wasn’t- so maybe it was just me… 🤪 I will absolutely return. I want to check out the vibe in the evening. There were many other menu items I wanted to try!

Good food, good service, the NICEST people, and karaoke on Saturdays is SO flipping fun!!! Kids are welcome there too, which is so encouraging for young ones who want to find their bravery in singing. The crowd is SO supportive whether you're a professional , beginner, can't hold a tune, and everything in between. *edit. After giving thought to my review, I removed a star. Leaving reviews is for the establishment, yes- but also for future customers and I want to always leave an accurate review. Though the people there are AMAZiNG, the service is a bit slow and we haven't liked everything we've gotten there. We have certainly LOVED some things, but have also had some items that we didn't even really like at all. I realize it's all going to be different for everyone, according to tastes. I didn't like the peanut hummus at all, but I LOVED the beet and goat cheese salad. My son had a sandwich that was like a mix of french toast that he didn't like, and barely touched sadly (and he's not a picky eater.). The beignets are to die for, though I shouldn't really eat them, as I avoid gluten and sugar most of the time. I did taste them. SO good.
