Amazing beach-side restaurant! The food was great, and our waiter, Kobe, was amazing! He was knowledgeable about my gluten allergy and my friend's nut allergy and gave us all the info and accommodations that we needed.

Love this place. Plenty of good gluten free options that are clearly labeled on the menu. The macadamia crusted mahi is amazing and so is the chowder. On my last visit, they had a promotion where they would match up to $50 off your meal if you donated to the Hawaii food bank.

Great service and atmosphere. The reason for the dock on food rating is not because of the flavor but because I have an allergy to gluten and I'm certain that it wasn't considered for in the kitchen. If you have celiac disease or are gluten intolerant, I wouldn't recommend risking eating here. Although they have gf items on the menu that are labeled, the kitchen isn't gf. I asked my waiter to let the kitchen know of my allergy, thinking they'd accommodate - but that wasn't the case.
