This restaurant thinks highly of itself, so we expected a good experience. We ordered the ceviche and the shrimp and grits, deviled eggs to start. My partner is gluten free so we ordered the safe options. However, the ceviche was crusted in panko and panko was added as a large garnish on the shrimp and grits, with absolutely no menu description identifying panko in either dish. We expressed his allergy prior to ordering and yet still got gratuitous panko. My partner tried to make the best of it as I attempted to mine out the panko garnish. The server gave us an apology and a free drink but no offer to comp or bring out a gluten-free version of either dish, which was quite disappointing. The drinks were great the eggs were delicious but consideration was lacking.

Great service and atmosphere. We were supposed to go to the restaurant down the street but there was a long wait so we decided to try Husk out. I’m so glad we did. Beautiful restaurant and the food was excellent. The deviled eggs were delicious. I think they were mildly pickled. Burned garlic Caesar salad was good and the shrimp and grits were perfect, not too greasy or cheesy like some places do it. The burgers were also awesome. I’m usually very picky about the beef meat and it was so flavorful. Just perfect. They also have a great drink menu selection. I had an espresso martini which was good but my husband’s mixed drink was delish. I can’t remember the name. They even did a gluten free option burger for my son.
