Hyderabadhouse in Middletown, Ky was a real treat. The restaurant was clean, the portions were large and the staff was very friendly. What more could you want on a night out for dinner?
We started out with the Goat Sukka (BONE IN). The goat cubes were large and pan-fired with onions, curry leaves (of course), and spices. This was the first time my wife and I tried goat. It was delicious!
My wife ordered and enjoyed the Gutti Vankay Biryani eggplant. It arrived with a heaping amount of Basmati rice seasoned with cilantro, onion slices, spices, and most likely saffron. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Kebabs which were boneless pieces of chicken marinated in yogurt. The chicken was cooked with fresh spices on skewers in a clay oven. There were also slices of green peppers, onions, and turnips on a streaming cast iron sizzle platter. The skewers were removed before the chicken arrived at our table. Like everything else, the portions of chicken were large and very tasty.
Our bread selection was the Garlic Naans which was a flat white bread. The bread was sprinkled with garlic and cilantro and baked in a clay oven. All of our items arrived with various sauces.
The restaurant offered both vegan and gluten-free items. There was a modest selection of alcoholic beverages available. The parking was ample and carry out is available. You will need take-home boxes for sure. I don't give five stars often, but the Hyderabadhouse in Middletown, Ky earns one here. Enjoy!
