Overall very pleasantly surprised! We came with a larger group on a Saturday evening, early at 5:30PM. The nice part is that our table was all ready for us. The not so nice part is that it was right by the door (my chair was brushed by every single patron walking in or out of the establishment) and it was drafty. The food was surprisingly good. Their gluten free pasta (they offer spaghetti or penne) is cooked in the same pasta water as all the rest, which I found incredibly dumb and was glad the server warned us ahead of time. It had great texture, but definitely be cautious if you have Celiac or any strong allergy. The regular pasta was tasty, the pizzas are Neapolitan style (small and charred at the bottom), and the rosemary focaccia was warm and slightly crispy. The sangria was recommended by our server and is definitely a highlight, sweet and berry forward. The pomegranate fizz came with a whole sprig of rosemary and probably tasted pretty dicey by the end of it, unless you drink quickly. The tiramisu is hilariously flat (one layer instead of multiple) but good, and the gelato is standard. Service is friendly and efficient; ambiance is overall quite nice and what you'd expect from a small restaurant just south of WSP.
