We loved this dining experience. My friend and I had an early dinner before a show at DPAC and just happened to mention it to our server, Sagar, who then offered us a 10% discount on the total bill. That was an unexpected treat, as was the ease of navigating their menu with dietary needs (gluten & tree nut allergies) and the food was so delicious. If we hadn’t been going to the show I would have kept eating… it was so good. I take special note of restaurants who serve food that makes me feel good in the hours following the meal, and this is one of few. Sagar was a most gracious host and took amazing care of us and I looking forward to my next visit. It is completely worth the drive from Raleigh. We had the cauliflower large plate, chicken tikka masala and dal makhani, served with basmati rice and fantastic. The mango lassi is served with a paper umbrella like a cocktail! Truly wonderful. As someone from New York who has available access to a variety of international cuisine, this is by far one of the best Indian restaurants I have ever been to. The cauliflower appetizer was beyond amazing. My wife enjoyed the lamb chops, and I really enjoyed the chicken tikka masala was the best I ever had. The portions were very generous, garlic naan is must have, and the lychee sorbet dessert was the perfect ending to a great meal. Throughout our meal our waiter was very attentive, and made wonderful pairing suggestions. The manager and the owner came to speak with us during the meal, expressing their gratitude and appreciation for dining with them. I can not over express how satisfied we were by the time we left. In addition they have a large selection of vegetarian options, as well gluten free options. Its a restaurant everyone can enjoy.
