So happy they are open! Vikram, J and Nevi, (owners) are the nicest. Excellent service which is rare in the Bay area. Most importantly the food was delicious. Had papdams, garlic naan, paneer pakoras, lamb saag and fish tikka masala. Can't wait to try other things, to live that they have a lot of seafood and lamb dishes in addition to many veggie options . The paneer pakoras were tender pillows of cheese and herbs with a crispy exterior and dusted with Chaat masala. Can I just have that for breakfast with coffee? I'd be a happy girl. My husband liked the garlic naan a lot and my neighbors said it was the best they ever had. I'm gluten free so can't honestly report on naan. The fish tikka masala, I just used a spoon and ate it, the sauce was that good. Well spiced but mild as a tikka masala should be, the fish was tender large chunks which was lovely. The lamb saag, yum! The spinach fresh and flavorful, not salty and not creamy, clean and gingery, the chunks of lamb fell apart with my spoon. I got that spicy and it wasn't too spicy so tell them, "Indian spicy" if you want real spicy. Excellent experience, next time I'm too lazy to cook or have a craving for Indian food, I will be there for sure. My new fave Indian restaurant. Clean, flavorful, delicious food plus great service.
