Inn on the Green

We were day visitors from Devon having supper before returning home. Very popular and busy place. Not a happy experience as we ordered a gluten free just egg and chips, but the regular menu ham egg and chips arrived. The meat was taken off and we were assured that the meal was gluten free. There must have been some cross contamination or fryer used to cook things other than only chips as my wife suffered with gluten intollerence all night. After my fish & chips, I also became unwell and was violently sick in the early hours too. Fortunately we have both recovered. Trust we were the only 'unfortunates' on Thursday night.

Shared a nice afternoon in the beer garden with a friend here. Food was nice, service was really good, pub is dog friendly, and gluten free beer options.
