Izakaya Okina

I've been going to this place since it opened. Back then, I was living in Murcia, as I was studying there. I've been living abroad for a few years now and now live in Copenhagen, but every time I return to Murcia, I make it a must-visit to Izakaya Okina. It's my go-to Japanese restaurant. Despite having lived in four countries and tried countless Japanese restaurants, I've never found such value for money and service. I'd like to add the bonus that I've also been there several times with friends who are vegetarian or who have allergies, celiac disease, or intolerances. A friend and I practically only went here because it's extremely strict about ensuring there's no cross-contamination, one of the few restaurants in Murcia where she didn't have a reaction after going. They make sure everyone can eat at their restaurant, and I think that's incredibly important.

Currently my favorite place to eat sushi in Murcia. Spectacularly delicious and at a great price. They have gluten-free beer and soy sauce.
