J.D. Hoyt's Supper Club

Amazing staff, I have celiac and our waitress asked her kitchen to make me gluten free cheese bread! It's something so simple and It made my night so much better. She went out of her way on a Friday night to do something special for me without me asking ♥️ thank you for that

I assumed for years that J.D. Hoyt's was a strip club since there are two next to it but deprived myself from this delightful place with that incorrect assumption. A classy joint with a 1940's inspired interior that makes you want to talk like an old school radio announcer and expect to see Guy Noir, Private Eye at the bar, J.D. Hoyt's is a delicious treat. They are known for their pork chops (which I did not try) and have many creole menu items (remember Minneapolis is connected to New Orleans by the Mississippi).
