JOEY Sherwood

It was a great experience being at JOEY SHERWOOD. Our server was Mason, who was polite, courteous, had excellent insight to the food and the modifications available for gluten free options. The other servers were also helpful and attentive to make sure we had everything we needed, such as fresh drinks, and silverware. The timing was excellent with minimal wait time for a seat, or for our drinks and food. All in all excellent experience.

I find that Joey‘s menu is offering fewer and fewer gluten-free and plant based options. I settled for a salad with blackened tofu. When it came, I was advised that there were no seasonings for the Tofu, but it was added anyway. It had no flavour at all. The server apologized profusely, saying she should have let me know I wasn’t getting what I asked for, but didn’t. When the bill came, I was stunned to see that there was no compensation at all and I paid full pop for my meal. They obviously didn’t care that I didn’t get what I asked for They won’t get another chance for me.

Ryley was an amazing waitress she was very attentive to our gluten allergy. We eat at Joey’s a lot and have never had anyone worry about gluten allergies like she did.
