We ended up in this restaurant by chance. Unassuming from the outside, but much better inside than expected! Highly motivated, careful and attentive staff. When ordering, they even asked if you had any allergies such as gluten intolerance. Something like this is not yet a given. Small but fine menu and very tasty, exceptional food. Not huge portions, but good value for money.

Lovely restaurant, delicious food and the owner was really friendly. We arrived quite late and the owner was really accommodating and kept the restaurant open for us until we had finished our food and drinks, he also gave us lots of local recommendations of what to visit.
The menu was quite small but varied and had gluten free and vegetarian options available. I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Funchal!
