Our family has been to Jason's Deli several times. The food is great, and they accommodate gluten-free customers. I like to order the manager's special, which includes half a sandwich, salad, and chips. The salad bar is one of my favorites.
The only thing that I believe needs improvement is customer service. The majority of employees seem unhappy and disconnected from the start of placing an order to food delivery.
During our last visit, we stood at the register for quite some time before the cashier came up to take our order. The other employees noticed us waiting and did not call for someone to come to the register. When the cashier finally arrived, he was unfriendly and seemed annoyed. After serving ourselves salad, we proceeded to look for a table. There was a group of customers playing card games, thus occupying all of the tables in the back. We had to double back to the front, followed by the server. This appeared to visibly frustrate him.
Although we enjoy the food, we can not continue to dine at a restaurant that does not appreciate their customers.
