Went there for lunch today and ordered the gluten-free roll, and informed them of my gluten allergy. They immediately took it seriously and started cleaning up all of the surfaces, each worker got new gloves, and they grabbed a new knife. I felt pretty safe.
My ONLY worry being the tomatoes and lettuce since they used their gloves previously on those items, and they grabbed from the same areas as they had been for those. Which I hope management does address to continue to prevent cross contamination.
Luckily, I didn't have any issues, but I would recommend pulling from the non-touched area next time.
But really, outside of that, I plan on going back and feeling pretty safe to eat there as someone who has to be gluten-free. 😊
