Jersey Mike's Subs

Gluten free beware! They advertise they have gluten free sandwiches yet they don’t want to do the extra preparation during busy hours so they instead refund the order and refuse to do the extra work. Absolute laziness and completely unacceptable and unfair for those who have food allergies.

I keep giving the Jersey Mikes in Forest Hills, Queens, NY a chance but they keep disappointing. I understand lunch rushes are busy and I don't mind waiting a little longer than the stated time. My order was to be ready by 1210, I got there at 1220 and it was not ready. I ended up standing there for another 30 min, watching many other mobile orders be made, before asking for a refund. The lady noted my order was right there and would be done soon. After another 10 min, I asked about it and she pointed at the counter and walked away. The person putting the toppings asked the girl about my order. She moved my sandwich to the front and made it but my second sandwich wasn't there (it was a gluten free sandwich which they noted they needed more time for to clean a spot to make it) . At that point, the guy making the sandwiches asked about my order and just said he would refund the whole order and to give me the completed sandwich (appears they didn't want to make the gluten free sandwich). The original lady took the completed sandwich and never gave it to me as I waited for my refund. When they refunded me, they only refunded half my order and ended up having to wait another 5 min for her to complete the rest of the refund. I ended up leaving without anything after almost an hour waiting. I mobile ordered chipotle a few blocks down and it was ready under 10 min. Be ready to either wait a while and/or just be completely forgotten until someone maybe asks about you. This place has been open long enough to have it together for rushed, but it seems they are still very disorganized and have no real system in place.
