In KCMO for a night and it’s always a struggle to find gluten free and vegan options in new places. The kind folks at my hotel recommended this place and it did not disappoint. Super friendly staff, great attitude even though I walked in about 15 min before close. The food was exquisite! I got the falafel + hummus plate and sub’d out pita for veggies, lentil soup + salad. Yum! Highly recommend.

We are so excited about this gastronomic find. The food is fresh, well seasoned and delicious! The hummus… oh my, the hummus is incredible. Loads of options for any eating lifestyle. Vegan? Gluten free? Omnivore? You are covered. We don’t live in the area, but we will keep it on our KC eatery list, and have already told folks who are traveling through the area that they need to stop at Jerusalem Cafe.
