My husband, friends and I went for dinner last night. I’m always nervous eating at restaurants as I have celiacs disease (extreme gluten autoimmune) and I get sick even with just a crumb. When ordering, there aren’t too many gluten free offerings on the menu, so I improvised. I asked Rob, our waiter, if the kitchen caters to people with gluten allergies and he assured me they did and he would take care.
So I ordered the teriyaki bowl with rice, steamed broccoli and chicken (no seasonings or sauces, made in separate pans, using clean utensils) and I didn’t get sick! The bowl was actually really good. Rob did a great job, not just with me but with our group.
I do wish there were more gluten free options besides a pizza and I saw they have nothing Bundt cakes and I would have gotten one if it was the gluten free flavor (which is very good btw!)
