Friendly place with many healthy and gluten free options. Great breakfast, lunch and dessert choices. Many items made from scratch. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

I heard that Karie called her kitchen a different name a while back, but I understand that the only thing that changed may have been the name. When I went there for the first time, I was happy that they kept the baked goods, the menu items, the coffee options, and the entrance-in-the-back. This restaurant is not tucked away in some North Kingstown corner, it is located right on Route 1 as you drive along the most scenic part. I think you should check it out! Karie's Kitchen shares space with a local hotel that was recently changing ownership and has a lot more invested into the rooms. It is also a breakfast place that is open fairly early. Because of this, you might see tourists or blue collar workers getting their morning cuppa before the day starts. You'll also see people enjoying their food in an almost private setting because of the fact that the restaurant is on the back side of the building. If you are going to get inside seated service, it makes sense to wait at the host station, if you're ordering to-go or pickup, go on inside until you see a proper coffee shop. The number of gluten-free options, including the breakfast sandwiches, means I have to become a local customer, that's the only way I will be able to enjoy every item. The breakfast sandwiches that Karie's makes should be in a modern version of a Cinderella movie, they are beautiful, and should be cast as the morning sandwich that Prince Charming or Cinderella eats before they take on the day. They get a lot of their gluten-free baked goods from AJ's Bakery, a local GF baked goods company, and Kerry's is the only place I know of where you can get GF cinnamon buns. (Start drooling response, FLAVOR). Anyways, when you're in RI, and you're touring our famous Route 1, definitely check out Kerry's Kitchen on a morning, and say hi to the morning dew on the grass. It is a pleasant experience and a definite enjoyment!

Delicious food, lovely atmosphere we like to sit on the patio even in the winter. They have it enclosed and kept warm. My daughter has Celiac they had many GF options and were knowledgeable and carful to mention the allergy to the kitchen. She felt great after eating here. We have already been back twice and will be back again. Love that they have GF dessert and pastries options. They also offer a Military Discount. Always thankful when owner offer this. Thank you!!
