Jill - Neapolitanische Pizza

Very tasty pizza, BUT: the gluten-free pizza is made with gluten-free dough, is packaged separately, and is baked on gluten-free flour. However, the work surface isn't completely cleaned beforehand, and the pizza is placed on the same peel and in the same oven as the other pizzas. Suitable for a gluten-free lifestyle, but unfortunately not for people with gluten intolerance or celiac disease. What a shame! There should be a clear notice here.

A solid pizza experience. Good, but not absolutely outstanding. The pizzas on offer ranged in toppings from classic to "modern" and were of good quality. There was something for everyone. The pizza was priced "reasonably" but the dessert was a bit high for the small portion size. One very positive aspect is the option of gluten-free pizza crust. The service was very friendly, but things got a bit hectic towards the end, as tables are only reserved for a limited time and the expectation of a quick replacement was noticeably on the server's mind. However, the whole thing was communicated beforehand and therefore understandable. Watching the kitchen at work in the middle of the room adds a "Jill" flair and is a positive part of the experience. In summary: It's good to do once, but not an absolute recommendation. A must-try for everyone. A great option for those with gluten intolerance.

Rain, hail, or shine—Jill’s is always worth a visit, so be sure to book ahead! The pizza is fantastic, and their gluten-free base (a rare find in Hamburg) is a game-changer. The cocktails are just as impressive. With cozy indoor seating and a charming back courtyard, it’s a great spot year-round. In the colder months, don’t forget your gloves—but if you do, no worries, they’ve got blankets on hand to keep you warm!
