I'd rather not give it any stars. I was there last Friday evening because I have celiac disease, and the waiter sent me to the manager because he had no idea about the gluten-free dishes. We sat down, and when the menu came out, it said they couldn't rule out the possibility of traces. We then asked the waiter, and he just cheekily said he didn't know anything and that it would be enough to speak to the manager. The waiter wouldn't listen to us and wouldn't get the manager again. He insisted that we order now and not argue any further. Then he turned around and left. He ignored us and didn't care that we left. The waiter was very unfriendly, and you really don't get good advice here. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Highly recommended for people with celiac disease – well-thought-out, safe, and welcoming!! We have celiac disease and are familiar with the endless search for restaurants where you can truly eat safely. Green & Grill completely won us over – we've rarely felt so well looked after. The staff has remarkable knowledge of celiac disease and the gluten-free diet. They explained to us in detail how the products are handled and how the dishes are prepared – everything was well-thought-out, structured, and taken seriously. No gut feeling, just genuine understanding of the issue. And the rolls are homemade, what more could you want ;-) A special thank you goes to Angelika, who looked after us – friendly, competent, and attentive to every detail. In addition to the already great experience, there was a little surprise: four different juice samples. Great service – they know what they're doing! For people with celiac disease, this restaurant is a real ray of hope. We'll definitely be back. Thanks to the whole team – you do a really great job.

By chance, because I no longer work in the area, I passed by this shop. The gluten-free sign is a magnet for my eyes. A small, oblong shop, with shelves full of SUPERFOOD magazines and books lining the wall. It reminds me a lot of a former workplace, raw vegan bubble, esoteric flair...but we'll see. The woman behind the ceiling greets me warmly and tells me what they have to offer. Everything from breads to tiny bites of the larger doughs. Bread muffins or rolls are more suitable for those on a budget. My eye tells me these are seeded breads with various combinations. They use buckwheat, sweet potato, and teff flour, nuts, seeds... The names mostly have women's names, which I personally find very appealing. Gluten-free, vegan, and even some histamine-free. So, if you're not necessarily on a tight budget, have a lot of intolerances, or aren't particularly into baking, here's a healthy, wholesome combination. My bread bars, one poppy seed and one topped with olives, taste good to me. They're compact, more comparable to seeded bread from well-known bread companies, nutty and delicious. I really missed the salt in the poppy seed, but that can be easily supplemented with a specific spread. Conclusion: A good alternative for some! Prices from €1 to a loaf for around €8/€9

Very cute café, we came in on a Saturday morning without a reservation even though it was quite busy, the gluten-free selection is very good, there are 2 different waffles and bread, 4* because the food took a long time to arrive and by then the coffee was already gone, but the portions are very large and we even packed some extra.

Finally, a gluten-free fish sandwich! The sandwich was warmed in a baking bag, the toppings came from a separate container, and careful attention was paid to contamination! A safe meal for me as someone with celiac disease! Taste 10/10!!!

We have eaten at Luigi's several times and definitely not the last time! The large variety of extravagant pizzas with enormous diameters is unique. And for my girlfriend there are these, a little smaller but just as delicious, also gluten-free. Be sure to reserve on weekends and still allow for a bit of a wait. To bridge this gap, there is a Prosecco on the house. The rooms are quaintly narrow but very creatively decorated. The staff is super friendly, even when the hut is on fire. We only had to wait two (!) minutes from the time we placed the order for my large beer and the red wine for my girlfriend, and we actually only had to wait another ten minutes for our pizzas. After the delicious meal, there were two Sambuca with flambéed coffee beans on the house. So we had another fantastic meal at our favorite Italian restaurant. Always happy to come back when we are in Hamburg!

Very tasty pizza, BUT: the gluten-free pizza is made with gluten-free dough, is packaged separately, and is baked on gluten-free flour. However, the work surface isn't completely cleaned beforehand, and the pizza is placed on the same peel and in the same oven as the other pizzas. Suitable for a gluten-free lifestyle, but unfortunately not for people with gluten intolerance or celiac disease. What a shame! There should be a clear notice here.

Super delicious - also gluten-free! We have been coming here as often as we can for 6 years, it is also a must for all our guests. Great ambience in the historic Levantehaus, super tasty, cheap (a filling main course is available for just €10) and friendly service. There are also plenty of vegetarian, some vegan dishes and even I, who have celiac disease, find a large selection of gluten-free dishes. We are particularly grateful to Tung, who is always particularly friendly and patient and always gives us great information about which dishes contain allergens! (Give him a raise!) PS: Definitely try the Vietnamese spring rolls!! I dream about them at night!

We ate here with three people. One has celiac disease (gluten intolerance). The service explained to her what she was allowed to eat and the food came quickly. For starters there were summer rolls and spring rolls, both of which were very tasty! We ordered two pho and one beef with vegetables. We were all more than satisfied and completely full afterwards! The atmosphere was very pleasant and everyone was friendly and accommodating. We definitely recommend it!

I can recommend it without reservation – centrally located, a few minutes from the train station, the food is delicious, and to top it off, they even have gluten-free corn noodles! The service is good, the people are very friendly, and overall, the value for money is very good. If I lived in Blankenese or nearby, I'd probably go there every week.

Gluten free pinsa! The idea is very good, the implementation is bad for celiacs! All pinsas are baked in the same oven, so contamination can occur. It's a shame, but the gluten-free pinsas are not suitable for celiacs! 😌

We were in this restaurant for the first time. The ambience is great, the menu is nicely laid out. There are vegan and gluten-free pizzas and pasta. The service was friendly. We had to wait longer until our order was taken and the serving of the food took longer because the take-out dishes were prepared first. There was bread in advance, which you could order for free. The pizzas tasted good, the pasta was manageable, for just under €16 it could actually have been a little more. All in all, we probably won't eat there again.

I was there today. The food is very tasty. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is completely gluten-free. Lentils and pseudo-grains are sorted out. Great for eating delicious tacos quickly. Also gluten-free except for the chicken tacos. The vegetarian ones didn't entirely convince us, but the ones with beef or pulled pork were super tasty. The Topos MxStr (tortilla chips with pulled pork and yogurt sauce) are highly recommended!

Discriminatory jokes about celiac disease I actually heard a lot of good things about the restaurant and found the location to be very appealing from the outside. Both inside and outside there was a nice and warming atmosphere despite the current cold, drizzly weather in Hamburg. However, I am very disappointed with the staff and couldn't enjoy the ambience at all. Because of my celiac disease, I have to follow a very strict gluten-free diet. Unfortunately, contamination is often an issue and so I always have to ask the waitress whether something is gluten-free or not when there is no allergen food and drink menu in front of me. I'll be honest: I also find it super annoying, but I didn't choose my disability. Now I asked mulled wine whether it contains gluten, as not everyone knows that unfortunately wheat is sometimes added as a starch when preparing mulled wine. Instead of receiving a neutral answer, the employee reacted annoyed and I was confronted with unpleasant jokes. I didn't understand why the employee had to emphasize with an annoyed undertone that her colleagues had laughed at her over this question. In between, an employee came and made a joke about my gluten intolerance, which I found to be offensive. I didn't choose this disability and found the service overall to be very disgraceful. Overall I felt very uncomfortable. My friends were shocked by the staff's reaction to my question. I very much hope that a neutral attitude towards customers with disabilities and intolerances can be maintained in the future. They lost me as a customer after that evening.

A cute little basement cafe with outdoor seating. The cakes are gluten- and dairy-free, which is why I came here. However, I find it very expensive. The slices are small, narrow, and quite flat, depending on the variety, and cost €5.50 each! Other vendors charge €3.70 for their homemade gluten-free cakes.
