Service is excellent and it's very obvious they care deeply. Had the Calabrese pizza which was a delightful balance of flavors with the right amount of subtle heat, the Salsiccia pizza (gluten free) which was light and delicious, and the gluten free crust not too much of a compromise, and the Pig and Fig salad which was a delightful appetizer. Great vibes, mix of homestyle and light and airy design and a friendly, welcoming yet efficient atmosphere. Would recommend, would return. ~$100 for two pizzas, wine, salad and tip.

Had a great meal at Joelle tonight. My husband and I shared the pig n fig salad (delicious), some wine, he got the calebrese, and mine was on gluten free crust - both were delicious. We sat at the bar because we came without a reservation but we're seated quickly and were well taken care of. Would absolutely come again.

Our server was pleasant, but it felt like we were being rushed, we had an 8:15 reservation and later found out they close at 9:00 and not 10:00 (which doesn't make sense). We did have to wait for one member of our party, but ordered appetizers ahead of time. The appetizers didn't take too long come out, but it felt like as soon as our server came back to get our food order, it came out in no time at all. My main disappointment was that upon delivering our meals, the food runner, or maybe management staff (?), let us know that they were out of crust, so they placed my pizza on gluten-free crust. And without giving anyone a chance to object, she tried to assure us that the taste is completely the same, and it's still fine. I was immediately turned off, as I have had gluten-free crust and cauliflower crust before, and I do not like them - which is why I did not order it. I would have appreciated at the time that we put our order in that I would have been notified instead of waiting to be presented a gluten-free crust pizza. They insisted on leaving the pizza on the table in case anyone else wanted it, but no one did. When the server came back to ask how it was, I asked her to take the pizza away. Overall, it was an underwhelming, disappointing first and last time eating here.
