K-TOWN Street Food Vaugirard

An incredible restaurant and delicious cuisine but unfortunately you should not trust the “gluten-free” label on almost every dish. Not being able to eat gluten, I was delighted to discover this restaurant and I confirmed with them that they had two separate fryers for gluten and gluten-free products, which is really great! Unfortunately I didn't think to ask if they used gluten-free soy sauce in their sauces, especially the garlic/honey sauce which I was a huge fan of. I ended up contacting them to ask after being very sick several times, and indeed that is not the case... The only sauce that does not contain soy sauce, and therefore no gluten, is cheddar sauce ( which I'm not a fan of at all unfortunately). Huge disappointment therefore because a restaurant which had become my new favorite fast food is therefore inaccessible. It would also be good to remove the “gluten-free” label from dishes whose sauce contains soy sauce because I am surely not the only one to have been fooled… Without this concern I would have given it five stars without hesitation because I think they really deserve them as the food is so good. It’s also a shame for them because they clearly go to great lengths to separate products with gluten and without gluten, so that in the end it comes down to the same thing because the sauce is not safe. I hope they change this in the future and if so I will happily recommend and change my rating to the 5 stars they truly deserve.
