I love their food but a couple of things that would be helpful as a person with dietary allergies! - labeling the soups as gluten free or not, I called and was told the Tom kha is but isnt labeled as gf? - include which dishes come with rice or not in their descriptions, both on their menu online and delivery apps. Gf/Df food is hard to find and typically expensive, I’d like to avoid buying extra rice if a curry or soup comes with it already!

I was craving thai and have loved Kati in the past, and with dietary restrictions they have had great options. I was very excited last night to see how many more gluten free options there was (I have a serious intolerance to gluten and dairy) especially excited to see GF pad thai! I called in to order a GF pad thai I had asked if the fried tofu was GF. she said no, so I asked for soft tofu, the person on the phone told me that the fried tofu was better in her opinion and told me to hold and then said it was GF. I should’ve just stuck to veggie or soft tofu but decided to try fried, and got a mango sticky rice. when I picked up again there seemed to be confusion if the fried tofu was GF, again I should’ve just got ate it but trusted that what they told me was correct and I spent over $30 for dinner and dessert but today I am hurting as I would if I ate gluten. i’m really frustrated that this happened and it could really hurt someone if there isn’t correct labels or knowledge about what is in foods or not. besides that the food was delicious i’ll just know not to get fried tofu in their GF dishes even tho it’s on option online ordering. they handle this situation very well and were very kind. I can’t wait to try it again and feel good next day.
