Kazumi Sushi Lounge

I went to Kazumi restaurant with my mother on September 27th. We are both celiac, and I took the precaution of contacting the restaurant beforehand, reviewing the menus and gluten-free options to ensure everything was okay if we were to eat there. We asked again about the gluten-free options at the beginning of our meal, before ordering. The servers all seemed rushed and only half-heartedly listened to our requests, without really paying attention. We had to have some of our sushi remade, supposedly gluten-free, as the wrapping was made with soy sheets! Furthermore, the soy sauce didn't seem to be gluten-free (it was tamari)... In the end, we decided to trust the restaurant and the chef, but we both got sick that same night, and it took me two days to recover, which is unusual for me. Therefore, I do NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone with celiac disease, despite the options offered on their menu.

Great ambiance, great for groups. They can accommodate the menu for gluten-free, dairy-free, and food allergies. Great hostess & staff. I really enjoyed the food, and I don't usually eat sushi. Loved the expérience!
