Fish was fresh and food was good - everything else was sub-par and kinda ruined the experience.
Pricing was on-par with most decent sushi places ( $13-15 per fancy roll)
Pros:
- food was good quality
- they did have gluten-free options and tamari sauce (gluten free soy sauce)
- hot green tea was not overly smoky
- had a full beer and wine list (not just sake and Japanese beers), which is a nice upgrade
- on-site free parking (it's in a strip mall)
Cons:
- atmosphere sucked - too loud to hear your date (and nearly everyone was there on a date) - we ended up yelljng at each other and mishearing each other all night.
- not really any "best seats" in the house- it's one fairly small-sized room. I kept getting bumped by wait staff on their way to other tables.
- my food (1 roll) came out at least 15 min. Before my date's sashimi plate ... weird. Made for an awkward dinner
