Kingfisher Pacific Resort & Spa

My spouse and I went to Kingfisher to celebrate an anniversary, and it was a lovely time. The romance suite was comfortable and well-suited to a nice time with a partner. The view was incredible, and the grounds, while small, are beautiful and really nice to spend time in. The room was a bit central, so a bit loud with other guests celebrating in groups, but most people respected the quiet hours. The building looks a little dated when you arrive, but the interior. grounds, spa and restaurant are all updated, well-maintained and very pleasant. The hydropath experience at the spa was lovely - very relaxing, mostly fairly private, and full of variety. Dinner at Oceans7 was fantastic. Staff did a great job of taking care of our food restrictions (my husband wasn't glutened, which is always a treat when dining out). The food and drinks weren't cheap, but they were all delicious. Also - this isn't the resort's doing, but Courtney and Comox have some very nice shopping and aren't far at all, assuming you don't fill your hours with spa activities.

This review is a bit late. I took my wife here Feb 2022 for her birthday. We loved the ocean view and the room was so cozy!! We are both gluten free and struggle eating out, so we were happy to have the kitchenette. Ocean 7 was also very accommodating and delicious! Now for the spa - the massage was one of the best we ever had and the hydropath was unbelievable. Words cannot describe how relaxing and enjoyable the experience was. The hydropath is something I look back and think about and wish I could do again (I would if I lived nearby!!). I would HIGHLY recommend for a romantic getaway and spa treat. One of the best in BC!
