Kismet Bagels - Fishtown

Kismet Bagels in Fishtown is a solid spot for takeaway — I’ve been several times and keep coming back. The jalapeño cheese bagel is my go-to (even untoasted, it’s that good), and they’ve got gluten-free options too, which is a plus. Just a heads-up: no espresso drinks at this location, which is kind of a bummer, but the bagels make up for it. Always fresh, always tasty.

Really wanted to like this place. My girlfriend was so excited to try the gluten free bagel. Bagels were below average. I asked for mine toasted and they did not toast it. Seriously, the only thing you had to do and it probably would have made it a decent bagel! I know that it was close to closing but come on. Feel bad leaving this review because they were nice and the store was cute.

As someone that has lived in NY these are the next best. The staff is friendly and quick and you can order ahead online for fast pickup....Back to these bagels tho. Loaded with flavor. A lovely soft interior with that great chewy crust and they dont skimp on the add-ons/ins. Amazing in house blended cream cheese with seasonally rotating offer(s). They also have Vegetarian/Vegan & Gluten Free options! 'The Fish,' is not to be missed, if you're a classic Lox and schmear fan like myself. Their Lox is... in a word... luscious. Add on Capers and jazz it up with their (spicy middle eastern cilantro based) zhug sauce if you're wanting to be extra and you're not afflicted by the gene that corrupts cilantro's deliciousness. For a small business specializing in making their offerings top tier these guys are really doing it right.
