We chose this restaurant for the gluten free options. The menu looked really good and so did the specials. Unfortunately, the buffalo cauliflower dish was inconsistent, some pieces still cold inside while others fine. I also ordered the crab cakes which were very soggy and didn't have much flavor. The string potatoes that came with the crab cake were supposed to be crunchy but they were soft/stale. It seems like most of the food is frozen then quickly reheated, which would explain why the temperature and consistency was off. The food came out SUPER fast which also makes me believe it's frozen and not reheated properly. Too bad, we were really hoping to have a go-to gluten free friendly spot in Philly but likely won't be going back. I had a mocktail which tasted great and our server was so incredibly friendly.

(Note: I write these reviews in part for my own nationwide business clients, for travel inspiration! I’m a financial planner -CFP®️practitioner- with a focus on retirement wealth strategies, primarily serving business women and LGBTQ individuals. #VirtualPlanningCraftedWithCare) This cafe is located right across the street from the Eastern State Penitentiary. Stop in! It’s terrific! First, it’s a big place, with a great vibe and friendly people. It was well organized and clean. Also, it had lots of choices for good preferences and allergies. I’m gluten free and dairy free and had many choices here. They have drinks and food. I can vouch for the oat milk latte. This an LGBTQ friendly place, as evidenced by their signage and gender neutral bathrooms. I saw a lot of diversity in patrons: families, students, seniors and couples. Lots of tourists and locals alike. Price were fair and accessibility was available. Parking is a bit harder in this area but you can find street parking with some patience. Worth the time to visit!
