Kosaten Launceston

We were keen to try this place as we have dined at Kosaten in Geelong where we had some of the best sushi we've ever had. Sadly this was a huge disappointment. My partner ordered a chicken teriyaki, it didn't come out so we had to call the waiter. When it came it looked nothing like the photo. A tiny bowl of chicken that cost $16! Called the waitress again to double check we had received the right dish. Had to request table water to be brought out. A few nice gluten free dishes but no offer of gluten free soy sauce. The mixed sashimi was a few tiny bite size pieces. I think it was around $17 - poor value. We walked away hungry and disappointed.

Love, love, love! The food is absolutely amazing and super fresh. They have a vegetarian and gluten option. The pricing is excellent and they have the ability to split the bill. And yes, there is a train that goes directly to where you're sitting and the staff are very friendly. 10/5 stars.
